LICENCE TERMS

The licence grants the user the right to use the data for one calendar year from the date of purchase and to one update of the data within that initial year. An annual licence fee will be payable to continue to use the data after the first year and receive updates.

The licence grants the user the right to use the data in a single satellite device or routing and navigation system for personal routing and navigation. The data may only be used by that user within vehicles that are owned or hired by that user. There is no consecutive licensing between users of the vehicle. In other words the device cannot be installed into a vehicle and then be used by multiple individuals during a working day e.g. one user during day shift and another user during the night shift. Landis Media Ltd will also seek punitive damages based upon but not exclusively by limitation to the size and scale of abuse of the data. Parameters such as and the period or abuse, number of vehicles within which the data has been used and number of users will be taken into consideration.

The data has been created using a variety of techniques and these include margins of error and variances. We make every endeavour to minimise such variances, but depending on the location of the point of interest these can vary between 1m and in the extreme 1000m.
